Now we come to the granddaddy of poker games, Texas Hold’em. No one will disagree this is the game of the 21st century thanks to the internet and television. Who does not dream of playing in the final table of the WSOP or any other major tournament. I know I do.
But to get there you have to be very very very lucky or you Gotta Master The Strategies”. The second is easier than the first. There are numerous tips and strategies which can be used to be successful at Texas Hold’em but a few are considered sacred. Let us look at these today:
1. Read and understand the rules of the game before you start to play. Do not underestimate this.
2. You must have a lot of Patience. My friend, if you do not have patience I suggest you stay as far away from this game as is humanly possible.
3. Respect your positioning on the table when it is your turn to bet. The strategy to be employed is very different depending on your positioning. The later positions are always the positions of strength however as you get more experienced you will realise how you can take full advantage of early positions.
