Don’t gamble with money you can’t afford to lose, don’t ever borrow money to gamble. If you can’t afford it you shouldn’t be playing for money the same way you wouldn’t go out and blow your rent money on tickets to an amusement park or borrow money to go the cinema don’t do either of these things in order to gamble.
The house always has the advantage. This is a simple and true fact and if you think you can beat the house every time you are sorely mistaken.
Know the game you’re playing. Know the rules, know the exception to the rules, know everything about the game inside out and upside down. You don’t want to lose on a technicality.
Take breaks, lots of them. This keeps your head clear for concentrating on the game and keeps the excitement of the games from building up and leading you to gambling mania.
Losses happen, accept them as part of the game, think of them as the cost of playing and move on.
Enjoy gambling but don’t let it be your only hobby. Branch out, find other things to do with the money you win from gambling like taking a painting class or a dance class.

Gambling online these days is not done with a simple google search of the phrase “online casinos” and a click of the first site to come up. It’s important to your monetary health to know the right place to gamble. The goal of any online casino is to be the number one online casino but they aren’t all so reputable since online gambling has seen exponential growth in the last decade even with subsequent explosion of attempts to shut down the industry it’s still managed to survive.
The point of this article is to make you the average web surfer aware that everyone with internet access can enjoy the comfort of gambling from their own home at any time day or night and to make you aware that there are real casinos and bogus ones. The phony casinos that are designed to bilk you of your money actually tend to outweigh the genuine gambling sites. This article will help you to weed out the bad from the good.
When choosing an online casino a player should first check that the site provides 24/7 customer support so that should you decide to cash out, create an account or simply ask a question at 3:17 in the morning you can.
Level headed players don’t only play at one casino trying to recoup a loss they made there. Players should frequent at least three different casinos so if one does not prove lucky tonight, the player can try another and see if the luck there is any better.
Smart players gamble with only a fixed budget of how much they’re likely to win and how much they’re willing to lose. Smart players know when to walk away from a casino. If a player is on a winning streak and meets the previously set goal of winning say $1000 dollars, that player should walk away even if he might still be lucky as his goal has been met. If a player is on a losing streak then switch games or even casinos in search of better luck. If better luck cannot be found the player should give up for the night and play some other time.
The following tips should be taken to heart and employed with every game of chance one plays. Before you begin playing any game of chance read up on all the rules, strategies and tips! Learning as you go leads to money lost. Never stop learning, there’s always a new trick to be found. When you start gambling open with the minimum bet to see how the others at the table are betting. And most importantly, have fun. If you’re not having fun, you’re doing it wrong.

1. Eliminate distractions – take the phone off the hook, put the kids to bed, turn the tv off and LOCK THE DOOR so your husband/wife can’t come in! Tell everyone you’re playing at an online gambling casino and this means quiet time!
2. No seriously, go lock the door. And no you aren’t thirsty right now, you don’t need that snack in the kitchen. Wait until you’ve won something, then go get that beer to celebrate!
3. Open the curtains so you know when the sun’s come up outside.
4. Mute your computer, you don’t need those IM windows distracting you with the stupid sounds or the fake casino noise distracting your concentration!
5. If you get too tired to play with the proper concentration, take a nap! That’s the whole point of gambling at online casino, you’re never far from your bed.
6. If the nap doesn’t help call it a night and get some rest. You can’t gamble and win if your brain’s in sleep mode.
Gambling online is the ultimate way to beat the pitfalls of gambling in a physical casino, the odds are better, you have an easier time concentrating and so your chances of winning are increased don’t diminish them by gambling half heartedly.
