It used to be that gambling was a male dominated pastime; lately however like most things even gambling has been changing, its players opening ranks to let in the fairer sex and they’ve been cleaning up the tables ever since. Research Springer Axel and the Harvard Medical School recently published a paper on online gambling that showed an interesting trend in online gamblers. Of a 500 person large sample group female gamblers made larger bets and won more hands than their male counterparts. These conclusions were reached from twelve months of observation of a sample of five hundred bettors who use Interactive Entertainment AG, an Austrian based online bookmaker.
The study showed that women bet on average 20% more than men in a previously defined time period and showed that players who made larger bets were 60% less likely to lose than players who made smaller bets. Researchers concluded that the losses for gamers who make larger bets are smaller because caution against high risk behavior isn’t a restriction in their play.
So boys, it seems you may have met your match in the online gambling world.

Thou shan’t expect to win every time.
Thou shall not try to cheat by hedging your bets or making side bets.
Thou shall not trust blindly in betting systems.
Thou shall seek out the tables with the best odds and the most profitable rules.

You’re Not Due. You’ve been playing for 3 days straight, you haven’t showered, you haven’t slept, your lucky socks are dirty enough to smell straight through your shoes but you’re still not due to win. You’re not. Your odds remain the same regardless of how long you’ve been playing for. Keep in mind that the rules of every game favor the casino so you are always less like to win than lose. Don’t chase after your losses, don’t get caught up in the heady rush of the moment, you are always as likely to win or lose as you were in the last round.
Choose your casino wisely. Every casino is different from the last one. Every casino has its own set of rules including virtual casinos. Browse through the rules of all the casinos you’re thinking about playing in, even try a casino or two before you pick the one that seems to give you the most advantage. Don’t just sit down and start playing at the first casino you randomly stumble upon, there may be one out there that works better for you.
Always play the progressives. Slot machines, Caribbean stud poker, virtual poker, keno and so many others have progressive jackpots (jackpots that get larger with every game until someone finally wins) that it seems silly to play them for a single game pay out. Look around, keep your eyes open for the progressive jackpot games with the same payout rates that are listed in the reviews forum of most online casinos.

Gambling can be fun however, you must be careful to keep it from becoming addictive. Below you’ll find tips to keep you out of the pitiful sect of players who become addicted to gambling. Playing games of chance is fun, here are some times to ensure that that’s all they are!
1) Gambling should never be considered a way to make money.
Gambling is a game, you don’t play games to earn money. Gambling in the large part is only profitable to casino owners as the house always has the advantage over the player. Always remember that.
When the lure of the big win calls to you in the form of photos of those who have beaten the house think of all the poor unlucky souls who lost money to make that winner. It’s less likely you’ll turn out to be the winner than it is you’ll be the one whose money the winner collects. Don’t go in expecting to walk out thousands of dollars richer.
2) Never bet more than you can afford to lose.
Money you gamble with should always be money you’re prepared to part with that is to say it’s not your mortgage payments, it’s not your car payments, it’s not the money you’re going to pay your electric or water bill with, it’s just your gambling money. If you’ll regret being parted from this money don’t use it to gamble.
3) Limit the amount of money you gamble with.
Show some self discipline, decide how much money you’re willing to spend at the casino and when you get to that point stop regardless of whether you really feel your luck will turn around on the next roll or everyone’s looking at you like a loser. You will be better off just walking away. If you’ll be tempted to go over your limit then don’t bring your debit card, credit card or checkbook to the casino, go to the atm ahead of time and take out exactly the amount of money you intend to use for gambling.
4) Limit the amount of time you spend in the casino.
Decide beforehand how much time you intend to spend gambling, say four hours at a casino. When the time’s approaching your predetermined hour for leaving wrap up the game you’re playing. Don’t stay out until all hours of the night or make yourself late for appointments because you were gambling. A responsible gambler is in charge of his life and a responsible gambler is a successful gambler.

Gambling – to play a game of chance to stakes where winning is based almost solely on luck. There are however some games where skill and cunning are required and not just luck.
Poker and Blackjack for example are two games where if you play smart you’re likely to hit a win and so they’re not as risky to play as other games like roulette. And of course the best part about playing any game is winning.
Below you’ll find some great tips for online gambling, strategies you can use to take something fun, playing a game, and turn it into something rewarding, cold hard cash.
Casinos are ostensibly set up for your enjoyment, however the real purpose behind a casino, like any other business, is to make money. They make this money from you losing. However if you go in with your eyes open and your gaming skills honed you can be the one making money gambling and not the casino.
Here are some strategies that can help you in your goal to earn more in online casino gambling:
Don’t drink while playing, you’re playing online so you’re away from the temptation of free drinks most casinos offer, take advantage of that and keep a clear head.
Learn all the rules and pitfalls of the game you’re playing before starting to play, beginners luck is not guaranteed.
Find out how you will be paid your winnings and what the terms and conditions of that will be before you play!
Don’t go in expecting to win every hand, if you do win the first round don’t assume this is a guarantee you’ll continue to win.
If you take these tips about online casino gambling strategies to heart when you’re playing you’ll be more likely to cash out with more than you cashed in with.

1. Don’t go into the game worried about losing, never be scared to bet!
2. Don’t bet with the idea of impressing people, this leads only to foolish mistakes.
3. Don’t drink and gamble. Drinking makes it impossible to concentrate, you need your wits about you when gambling.
4. If you’re tired or you had a bad day don’t gamble.
5. If you lose don’t bet twice as much money on the next gamble.
6. Play smart, use your common sense.
7. Never play without a plan be it how to win or how much you’re willing to lose.
8. When making your plans always set a realistic goal for what you want to win and make a budget for how much you’re willing to spend and possibly lose.
9. Don’t spend more than you planned to.

11. If you’re gambling in a physical casino walk with only the money you have allotted for that night of gambling leave the credit cards and the checkbook at home!
12. Don’t get greedy, if you win don’t blow it all on the next spin of the wheel.
13. Do try your luck again with the next hand (just not all your winnings)

15. Don’t make large bets on games you’re unfamiliar with.
16. Don’t take distractions to the casino with you like the person you’re interested in, there are enough distractions at the casino to ruin your concentration (plus do you really want them to see you lose?)

1. Distraction! The blinking lights, the music, the noise from the other patrons at the casino, the gorgeous women wearing half of nothing! Casinos are really all about breaking your concentration on the game.
2. Alcohol. You think you’re at a casino to play games and not drink? Not so! That’s what all the complimentary drinks are all about, getting you drunk and feeling loose with your tongue, your thoughts, and most importantly your wallet!
3. The sound of other people winning! That cling, cling, cling, of the coins paying out at the slot machines never fails to reach your ears and once there it inspires a greed frenzy inside of you – if they can win why can’t I? And so you keep playing long past when you know you should stop.
4. Ever wonder why time seems to stop in a casino? It’s because there are purposely no clocks to remind you that time is passing, that you’ve been in there for four hours already and it’s getting late.
5. The soothing lighting. Most casinos are designed with no windows to let in that pesky thing called daylight that will remind you of the hour. The gentle overheads are easy on the eyes, not making you squint or sleepy by being too bright they want you to just play on.
6. Ever feel sleepy in a physical casino? Probably not as most of them pump pure oxygen in through the vents keeping you alert and refreshed at all times.
